A spectacular and high-profile fashion show titled “Fashion Beyond Borders” was successfully organized at the prestigious Bikaner House, New Delhi, as a joint venture of the International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) and LA Fashion Closet by Shagun. The event emerged as one of the most significant fashion showcases of the year, blending global fashion sensibilities with Indian creativity and academic excellence. The primary objective of Fashion Beyond Borders was to provide a global platform for fashion and to present Indian designers and young talent on an international stage. The event witnessed the presence of eminent fashion designers, academicians, industry experts, international delegates, and creative professionals from India and abroad. The show was held under the visionary leadership and esteemed presence of Mr. Ratnadeep Lal, Founder & CEO of the IIFT Group, whose consistent efforts have positioned IIFT as a leading institution in fashion education and international industry integration. Senior leadership from IIFT across India participated actively, highlighting the institute’s strong pan-India presence. Distinguished dignitaries included Ms. Neelam Batra (Director – IIFT Roorkee), Mr. Prateek Lal (Director – IIFT Greater Kailash, New Delhi), Mr. Nikhil Makhija (Director – IIFT Bilaspur), Ms. Preeti Sultan (Director – IIFT Jammu), Ms. Meenakshi Khandelwal (Director – IIFT Bareilly), and Mr. Abhishek Biswas (Director – IIFT Ranchi).
Mr. Vikas Chaturvedi, Director – Corporate Affairs, IIFT India, and Director of IIFT Ghaziabad & Naraina, played a pivotal leadership role in planning and executing the event at a national level. Nearly 600 students of the International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) participated in this grand annual fashion show, making it one of the largest student-driven fashion showcases in the country. The fashion show was creatively directed by renowned Bollywood show director Kaushik Ghosh, along with Hollywood show director Rashad Todd, delivering a world-class production with international choreography and high production values. Adding global prestige to the evening, Septimus The Great, a Grammy Award winner, anchored the show with remarkable energy and international appeal.

Following the grand success of Fashion Beyond Borders in New Delhi, IIFT will present its upcoming fashion shows in Paris (February 2026), Milan (March 2026), and Cannes (May 2026). These showcases will position IIFT on some of the world’s most prestigious fashion platforms, further strengthening its international presence.
In 2026, IIFT is set to showcase 100 exclusive garments at an international level, featuring curated collections by its emerging designers and students. This large-scale global presentation will highlight innovation, craftsmanship, contemporary aesthetics, and Indian design sensibilities blended with global trends.
